ExploSwing was officially founded in 2015 by owner Ian Gac after he saw a steady decline in power numbers throughout the game of baseball. This was in no small part due to increased testing for performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) across professional baseball. 

 

As a former professional baseball player of 13 seasons, Ian built his career around the ability to hit and hit for power. Ian realized that his ability to hit for power was not something that just came naturally to him, he had developed it from the time he was 12 years old. He developed his power, without the assistance of PEDs, through specialized swing training with a focus of the overload/underload principle while incorporating other dynamics as well. Using these methods Ian continued to gain and maintain power in his swing throughout his career. And with this, the ExploSwing system was born.
